3D Sound Live Mixing

I went to UWS studios to conduct some surround mixing of tracks I had worked on at my home studio. This was a case of routing mono tracks to quadrophonic tracks, including a quad bus FX routing, allowing the FX to be panned independently of the source tracks.

5.1 surround sound is being used in this example, although 4 speakers for the installation will be adequate to create a spatial sound field.
